Full Product Description
Can you use olive oil in a martini? Absolutely! This recipe for Pasolivo's Olive Oil Washed Martini features olive oil washed gin (or "fat washed" gin) made with award-winning Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil. Fat washing with olive oil (try it with gin or vodka!) gives your martini lots of that sophisticated EVOO flavor without the extra fat, which gets strained out with a coffee filter. It's perfectly complemented with an olive garnish to give this easy 2-step cocktail an elegant finish.
Ingredients
- 2 oz Pasolivo Tuscan Extra Virgin Olive Oil infused gin (6 oz gin + 1 oz olive oil)
- 3/4 oz Blanc Vermouth
- Olive for garnish (try our Tuscan Sun Baked Olives or Sun Dried Tomato Stuffed Olives for a gourmet twist

- Start by fat-washing your gin with EVOO: At a ratio of 6 ounces of gin to 1 ounce of olive oil, combine into a jar and shake. Let sit for 24 hours on the counter. Then refrigerate for 6 hours; this will cause the olive oil to solidify and separate. Afterward, you can strain it through a coffee filter and the olive oil will be strained out.
- Combine all ingredients into a mixing glass with ice. Stir and strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with an olive. Enjoy with a tasty charcuterie board.
