Made with six simple ingredients, Pasolivo's pickled blackberry recipe is super easy and delicious. Good on salads, with goat cheese crostini or vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients
- 1 cup fresh blackberries, washed and dried
- 1/3 cup Pasolivo Blackberry Balsamic
- 1/3 cup water
- 3/4 tsp. Pasolivo Orange Blossom Honey
- 1/2 tsp. Pasolivo Lemon Salt
- 1/2 tsp. black peppercorns
Preparation
- Put all ingredients except blackberries into a small saucepan.
- Heat over low heat, stirring occasionally, until ingredients are melted and incorporated
- Place blackberries into a glass jar and pour hot pickling liquid over the top
- Blackberries will be ready to use after 1 hour
- Refrigerate and use for 5 days
- Good on salads, with goat cheese on crostini, or vanilla ice cream
- You can also use the vinegar pickling mixture in salad dressings
