Tips for perfect avocado toast: Always use ripe avocados, toast thick-sliced bread, don't forget salt and seasonings, and most importantly, use quality extra virgin olive oil.
Ingredients
- 1 ripe avocado
- 2 slices of thick whole grain bread, toasted
- 1 teaspoon Pasolivo Classic Extra Virgin Olive Oil or Pasolivo Olive Oil of choice
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon Pasolivo Tuscan Blend or Pasolivo spice of choice
- 1/2 teaspoon fresh lemon juice
- 1 fresh garlic clove
Preparation
- Toast two slices of bread.
- Combine and mash avocado, lemon juice, salt and pepper.
- Rub the toast with a fresh garlic clove (for extra flavor) and then top the bread with the mashed avocado mixture.
- Drizzle with olive oil and sprinkle with Pasolivo Tuscan Blend.
