Golden, soft, and irresistibly fragrant, this bundt cake is infused with warm spices and finished with a luscious drizzle of Orange Blossom Honey. Every bite is the perfect balance of cozy and bright!
Ingredients
- 1 cup Pasolivo Classic Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup Pasolivo Orange Blossom Honey
- 2 tsp vanilla extract
- 2 1/2 cups flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp Pasolivo Kosher Flake Sea Salt
- 1 tsp Pasolivo Sugar & Spice Blend
- 1 1/2 cups of Gala, Fuji, or Honeycrisp apples, chopped small, peeling optional
- 1 cup toasted walnuts, chopped
- 2 tbsp flour
Preparation
- Preheat oven to 325°.
- Oil the Bundt pan with Pasolivo Classic Extra Virgin Olive Oil.
- Stir the Pasolivo Classic Extra Virgin Olive Oil and sugar in a large mixing bowl.
- Add the eggs and beat until lighter in color. Then stir in the Pasolivo Orange Blossom Honey and vanilla extract.
- In a separate bowl, whisk flour, baking powder, baking soda, Pasolivo Kosher Flake Sea Salt, and 1 tsp Pasolivo Sugar & Spice Blend.
- Combine the wet and dry mixtures until just moistened. Toss the apples with 2 tbsp of flour. Then gently fold in the apples and walnuts.
- Pour the batter into the prepared Bundt pan and bake until a toothpick inserted into the cake comes out clean, about 60-70 minutes.
- Let the cake cool on a baking rack for about 15 minutes. Then invert onto a cake plate.
- Drizzle with additional warm Pasolivo Orange Blossom Honey, caramel sauce, or whipped cream, if desired.
