A delicious mix of tangy and sweet, this pickled staple gets its bold flavor from Red Wine Vinegar, Kosher Flake Sea Salt, and Orange Blossom Honey. The perfect finishing touch for tacos, sandwiches, and salads!
Ingredients
- 1 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cup of water
- 1/2 cup Pasolivo Red Wine Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Pasolivo Orange Blossom Honey
- 1 1/2 tsp Pasolivo Kosher Flake Sea Salt
Preparation
- Slice the red onion thinly with a mandolin or knife and set aside in a medium-sized jar.
- Over high heat in a pot, boil the water, Pasolivo Red Wine Vinegar, Pasolivo Orange Blossom Honey, and Pasolivo Kosher Flake Sea Salt.
- Remove from heat and carefully pour the mixture into the jar filled with red onion. Make sure the red onion is fully submerged.
- Let it stand on the counter for one hour covered.
- Use for tacos, sandwiches, salads, pizza, and more!
